Job Summary:

Lohmann Therapy Systems North America is seeking a Facility Engineering Manager to join our talented engineering team. This role will manage facility support and engineering teams in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing site. This role oversees power plant, security, pest control, maintenance, and more. You will ensure regulatory compliance and manage large capital projects.
This is a full time, onsite role located in West Caldwell, NJ; On Call, First Shift

Responsibilities:

  • Lead facility support staff, including power plant, security, and maintenance teams.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with State, Federal, and Local authorities.
  • Manage capital projects, including design, construction, and budgeting.
  • Respond to audit requests and represent the company in audits.
  • Oversee site security and fire alarm systems.
  • Work overtime, off-shift, and weekends as needed.
  • Write and execute SOPs, Change Controls, Event Notices, CAPAs, and other GMP protocols.
  • Ensure proper engineering documentation practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 15+ years of experience as a Facility Engineering Manager in a GMP facility.
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
  • 5+ years of team leadership, coaching, and performance management.
  • Proven track record in driving large capital projects.
  • Experience with DEA compliant construction requirements.
  • Experience with maintenance, energy center operations, and fire suppression systems.
  • Working knowledge of building codes and the NEC.
  • Advanced skill level in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
