Lohmann Therapy Systems is seeking a skilled Production Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team.
This is a full time, onsite role located in West St. Paul, MN
First shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm Monday – Friday
Job Summary:
As a Production Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving mechanical, electrical, and computerized production systems. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting equipment issues, implementing preventative maintenance, and collaborating with the Engineering team on process optimization.
What You Will Do:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
- Improve equipment efficiency through analysis and implementation of solutions.
- Collaborate with production operators and engineers to optimize processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
Your Background:
- 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or related field, or an Associate’s degree in a technical field.
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with die cutting, converting, or packaging equipment preferred.
- Proficiency in using shop tools and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
These Skills Would Also Be Helpful:
- Knowledge of PLC’s and ladder logic control
- Experience with machining parts on a mill or lathe
- Welding experience (TIG, MIG, Stick)
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Experience with vision systems and sensors.
