West St. Paul, Minnesota \/ Andernach, Germany, July 29, 2026 \u2013 LTS Lohmann Therapie-Systeme AG (LTS), a leading partner in innovative drug delivery technologies, today celebrated the groundbreaking of a major expansion project at its West St. Paul, Minnesota campus. The investment marks a significant milestone in LTS’s long-term strategy to strengthen its pharmaceutical development and manufacturing capabilities in North America and accelerate the commercialization of next-generation healthcare products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The multi-year expansion includes approximately $10 million already invested since 2024, with an additional $30 million planned through 2028. The project will substantially expand research and development laboratories, pilot manufacturing capabilities, ISO 7 cleanroom manufacturing, quality testing infrastructure, warehousing, and operational facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz joined company leaders, employees, community representatives, and project partners for the groundbreaking ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The enhanced capabilities will further strengthen LTS’s position as a development and manufacturing partner for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies seeking innovative drug delivery solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is expected to create approximately 50 new high-value scientific, technical, engineering, and advanced manufacturing positions over the next five years.
