LTS Opens InnoVerse: New Innovation Center Advances the Future of Modern Drug Therapies

Andernach, October 1, 2026 – LTS Lohmann Therapie-Systeme AG (LTS) today officially opened its new innovation center, InnoVerse, at the company’s site in Andernach, Germany. Following three years of construction and an investment of approximately EUR 40 million, the new facility provides state-of-the-art development and pilot-scale areas, pilot production equipment, and dedicated space for interdisciplinary collaboration. The InnoVerse has also been designed with future growth in mind. In addition to the areas currently in use, the facility offers substantial space for further expansion.

The ribbon cutting ceremony marked the official launch of InnoVerse. Together with employees, representatives from politics, business and science, as well as the project partners involved, LTS celebrated the successful completion of this forward-looking project and highlighted the opportunities the new innovation center will create for customers, partners and patients.
Among the guests was Clemens Hoch, Minister of Science and Health of the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate, who emphasized the importance of innovation and long-term investment for the state’s healthcare and science ecosystem.

InnoVerse has been created to accelerate development processes and further strengthen collaboration with customers. Within its state-of-the-art environment, new drug delivery technologies can be jointly developed, evaluated and prepared for future industrial-scale manufacturing. In this way, InnoVerse will help translate promising innovations into solutions for patients more quickly.

Sustainability also played a central role in the planning and construction of the facility. InnoVerse has been designed to maximize energy efficiency and promote the responsible use of resources. The building’s temperature is regulated by latest-generation heat pumps, which can provide both heating and cooling as required. Additional advanced building technologies enable energy-efficient operation and support the site’s long-term sustainability goals.
