LTS bids farewell to Prof. Dr. Christof Hettich

It is with great sadness and deep respect that we bid farewell to Prof. Dr. Christof Hettich, who was closely associated with LTS Lohmann Therapie-Systeme AG for many years. His passing fills us with gratitude for his outstanding contributions to our company and with profound respect for his personality and achievements.

Prof. Dr. Christof Hettich joined the Supervisory Board of LTS in June 2007 and supported the company over many years with exceptional commitment, strategic foresight, and a strong personal dedication. It was thanks to his efforts that the Hopp family became a shareholder of LTS, steadily expanding and maintaining this shareholding over the years and up to the present day.

In April 2018, the Supervisory Board elected him Chairman of the Supervisory Board, a role he fulfilled with outstanding professional expertise, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility. In April 2024, Prof. Dr. Hettich stepped down from the Supervisory Board of LTS.

His broad legal, entrepreneurial, and strategic expertise made him a highly valued sparring partner for both the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board alike.

Prof. Dr. Hettich had a remarkable ability to combine entrepreneurial vision with genuine human warmth. He consistently placed sustainable corporate development, responsible action, and long-term perspectives at the center of his work. Many key strategic decisions at LTS were shaped and influenced during his tenure.

With Prof. Dr. Christof Hettich, LTS loses an exceptional companion and trusted advisor who supported the company over many years with clarity, reliability, and personal dedication. Our thoughts are with his children, his family, and all those who were close to him.
