LTS Receives Grant to Support Women’s Health in LIMICs

LTS is pleased to announce that it has received a grant of $592,454.00 from the Gates Foundation. This grant will support the project “Modular Manufacturing of MAPs for Contraception (Concept Planning),” which is another building block in the development of a long acting microneedle array patches (MAP) for self-administration of contraceptives for women in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

Poor access to diversified contraceptive solutions presents a significant burden for women living in LMICs. Our objective is to support the mission, to empower women and girls to take charge of their own reproductive health, enable them to make informed decisions about family planning, and ensure their access to contraceptive options that meet their needs.
